The Austin City Council is considering a resolution that could offer local small businesses more resources to help them succeed.
If passed at Thursday’s meeting, Council will request more feedback from small businesses by making the Small Local Business Summit an annual event. It will also encourage the city’s Small Business Development Program to inform businesses about city events, redevelopments and potential new vendor opportunities in the area.
The resolution also directs the city to publish a guide of federal, state and local incentives available to Austin businesses.
