You may have read in various news sources that the White House has delayed the enforcement of the employer mandate, a major component of health care reform, until 2015. The mandate requires mid- to large-employers with 50 or more employees to offer health insurance to their workers or pay a penalty. The Treasury Department announced it will delay enforcement until 2015 after numerous concerns arose from employers about the implementation challenges.  Health Care Reform Update

This Washington Post article details the change and is one of many articles covering the subject. The other components of health care reform, including the individual mandate, are still expected to go into effect as planned.
